What Do You Love Today?

Sunshine and warm breezes, free flower shows and being there to listen when someone needs to vent, homemade pad thai, pb2 with chocolate chips in it, video chats with the husband and family support.

What do YOU love today?

  1. This is one of the lame ones as tis used so often. I got up thirty minutes ago. I love the fact I woke up in the first place. What made it better coffee was waiting for me. 🙂

  2. A fellow renter moved this week and I helped him get hold of the manager – a very simple matter of giving him a pen and an envelope and addressing it. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door and he was standing there with a combination coffee maker/egg cooker/toaster. He told me that he couldn’t take it with him and he wanted me to have it because I helped him. I objected as the machine was almost new and must have been over $100. But he persisted and said he would just have to throw it away if i wouldn’t take it, so I did. Which brings me to what I love today – for the first time in 3 years, I had fresh brewed coffee and toast for breakfast. I didn’t realize how much I missed the smells of toast and coffee first thing in the morning.

  3. Well, today hubby and I attended a funeral, but it’s good to see family members on hubby’s side of family that we hardly get to see. It’s the only good thing about funerals, talking to and seeing family members and finding out new things about them.

  4. Today, I love the way my ‘special’ floofy cat goes to extremes to get my attention and how he will put his head against some part of my body (like a head butt, but he keeps still with the top of his head against me). The color, neon green is pleasing this morning 😀

      • Interesting. I didn’t know that. My daughter’s cat licks the walls, which indicates some sort of deficiency or health issue I can’t remember. Right now, he is lying next to me with his head hanging off the edge of the couch—upside down. (lying on his back)
