What Do You Love Today?

MT for making me laugh when I’m in the middle of a frustrating day, that finally I think my boss has stopped harboring an unnecessary grudge against me and the memory of the delicious meal I had last night.

What do YOU love today?

  1. Not much spectacular happening but I feel cheerful.I have two guest posts written and scheduled to be published Sunday and Monday. My new apartment is shaping up as I picked up a shelving unit and a slow cooker from a neighbor when he didn’t want them. Both are almost new. I got my pictures hung this week.I got a pending financial issue resolved in such a manner that it does me no harm. I did guest post on a new patient in dialysis https://willowdot21.wordpress.com/2015/06/13/if-we-were-having-coffee-june-142015-guest-post/#comment-24620 I intend to say hello to him again tonight when I do my treatment.

So all in all pretty positive. 😀

      • I am, I am! It’s amazing. I moved in here with just my clothes. I’ve furnished my room over the past year just using freebies. And I haven’t asked for any of it- it just appears. It is scary.I was sitting out on the front step waiting for my ride to dialysis one day when a young lad about 24 came by and asked if I had a smoke.I gave him one and we were chatting when, out of the blue, he asked if I needed a TV.I was suspicious – there is always hot stuff floating around. It turned out he lived just two doors down and was moving to western Canada. He didn’t want to haul the TV all that way as it is not a flat screen. It’s about a 36″ and works like a charm. The picture is perfect. Another time I needed a desk chair and I stepped out the back door to take out the garbage and the facility handyman was walking across the lot with an almost new desk chair upside down on his head. I asked what he was doing and he told me he was emptying out a vacant apartment and was throwing the chair in the garbage. It went into my room instead and I’m sitting on it now. It’s awesome.

        What can I say? I’m thankful. 😀

      • MT is about the only guy friend that I had (prior to marriage) that I still have. The rest disappeared or I got wife blocked when they got married. I befriended MT’s wife so that wouldn’t happen. I am so glad he’s back working in my company because it really does help to break up the day with a walk and a laugh.

      • I guess I was lucky with Don, I knew his wife but she never seemed to mind much if we went to lunch or out for drinks after work. Awww…now I really miss him. We lost touch so long ago. I wonder what he’s up to.
